American Civil Liberties Union Update to the Shadow Report to the U.S. Fourth Periodic Report

Due to the government shutdown, The U.S. was unable to present its Fourth Period Report to the UN Human Rights Committee during its fall session in October. As the ACLU prepares for the rescheduled U.S. review in March, it submitted an update to its shadow report, originally released in September.
