It's Geek Week. And what better way to celebrate than to watch ACLUers geek out on policy and share some knowledge with Congress and government officials?

Tomorrow, ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero will testify before the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing and Terrorism Risk Assessment on internet privacy.

Also tomorrow, Mike German, Policy Counsel on National Security, Immigration and Privacy for our Washington Legislative Office, will testify before the House Committee on Finance Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee on blocking terrorism financing without impeding on legitimate charities.

Finally, on Thursday, Jay Rorty, the Director of the ACLU's Drug Law Reform Project, will testify before the U.S. Sentencing Commission on federal mandatory minimum statutes.

So set your DVRs and pop some popcorn. Doesn't an evening of your favorite civil liberties group on C-SPAN sound nice?
